Step 1: Finding the Perfect Professional

Your journey begins by finding the right person for your pet's needs. Whether you need a daily dog walker, a reliable groomer, or a specialized veterinarian, our browse feature makes it simple.

1. Navigate to Browse: From the main menu, click on "Browse" to see a list of all available professionals.
2. Filter by Service: Use the filter options to narrow down your search. You can filter by specific services like "Dog Walking," "Dog Care," or "Veterinarian."
3. Review Profiles: Click on any professional's card to view their detailed profile. Here you can find their business description, photos of their work, services offered, and pricing. This is your chance to get to know them before making a booking.

Step 2: Booking a Service

Once you've found a professional you like, booking is just a few clicks away.

1. Open the Booking Modal: On their profile page, click the "Book a Session" button.
2. Fill in the Details: Provide your pet's name, the desired dates and times for the service, and any special instructions or details about your pet's needs. This helps the professional prepare for the visit.
3. Review and Pay: The system will calculate the total cost based on the professional's rates. Once you confirm, you'll be redirected to our secure payment portal powered by Stripe to complete the transaction.

Step 3: Managing Your Pet's Calendar

All your booked appointments automatically appear on your personal PetPal Calendar.

• View All Events: Click on "Calendar" in the header to see all upcoming and past events for your pet.
• Stay Organized: Your calendar is the central hub for everything—vet visits, grooming appointments, playdates, and more. You can even add your own personal events to keep everything in one place.
• Communicate: After a booking is confirmed, a chat will be created in your "Inbox." You can communicate directly with the professional to coordinate details or ask questions.
